Nature Supply Co was founded by Lindsey Huber in 2016 after realizing the impact our current food system had on not only her own health but also on the health of the planet. Her research, personal health journey, and the birth of her daughter led her to become a huge proponent of regenerative agriculture, local farmer enthusiast as well as a nature-lover. Lindsey wanted to spread the word about what she discovered and ultimately, make a difference. Thus, Nature Supply Co was 'born.'
Meet the Team
Lindsey, Founder and CEO
As the founder, Lindsey spends her days strategizing growth, planning and overseeing the brand's marketing strategy, leading the development of new designs and products, maintaining the website, and managing a team of eight.When Lindsey isn't working on the business, you'll find her spending time outside as much as possible, refining her gardening and cooking skills or hanging out at the farmer's market. Some of her favorite inspirational books are The Nature Fix, Braiding Sweetgrass and Kiss the Ground. She lives in South Dakota, where Nature Supply Co is headquartered. Did we also mention that she is related to Laura Ingalls Wilder?!
Sheena, Director of Marketing and Operations
Sheena manages our email and text messaging programs, assists in handling all of our wholesale accounts (we have over 1,000!), manages our Etsy shop, helps Lindsey with inventory management and does all paid advertising for Nature Supply Co (to say she wears many hats is an understatement!). Sheena lives in North Carolina and graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing and a graduate degree in human resource management. Fun fact: Lindsey and Sheena met virtually in a mutual Facebook group only to discover that Sheena grew up near Lindsey in the Midwest!
Desiree Carlson, Social Media Manager
Desiree handles our organic social media accounts, creates educational content for our new Nature is Neat Co sister brand and will soon take over handling our Brand Ambassador program. She has a background in early childhood and elementary education and has spent the last four summers working at a special needs camp. She loves the outdoors and is willing to tackle any DIY project you throw at her. Desiree and her family live in North Dakota on their mini homestead and just got approved to plant wildflowers on some of their land through the Bee and Butterfly Habitat Fund!
Carrie Schmidt, Customer Service
If you have any questions or concerns, Carrie is our go-to gal! She lives in Minnesota with her family and owns her own creative side business making wooden signs and custom doormats.
Christine Williams, Designer
Christine works side by side with Lindsey to take her ideas and turn them into reality. She lives in Texas with her husband and seven children and enjoys all things sourdough, gardening, and supporting local farmers.
Fulfillment Team
Our fulfillment team consists of four hardworking women: Tina Nearman, Gracyn VanDenHul, Deidra Thompson and Skylynn McNear. They are the ones who print all of the designs onto each item as orders come in, package them up and ship them out to you. They work out of our new office space in South Dakota.
