We kick off Our Nature is Neat - Backyard Bird Guide with a few fun facts like this one. Next, we teach the kiddos how we can keep backyard birds safe from threatening elements (Did you know the bird populations have drastically decreased in recent years?). After learning a few new words, the kids will have a few fun activities to do, including making a life-sized bird nest! They will move on to a worksheet, where they will label all the proper body parts of a bird. Last but not least, like all of our guides, we end it with a well thought out book list and resources to further their love and knowledge for backyard birds.
