Your little ones will learn all about how rainbows are formed and the three things you need in order to see a rainbow. After learning a few new words, such as prism and reflecting, you'll come across a fun poem that helps them remember all of the colors of the rainbow. Next, is a scavenger hunt that gets the kiddos outside, a science experiment and a fun art project. We have additional activities for younger ones as well as the older ones depending on your child's age and interest level. Lastly, we created our own word search! They'll learn what clovers are, what the difference is between a shamrock and a clover and why a four-leaf clover is considered so lucky. (Hint: The chance of finding one is one in 10,000!). After discovering a few new words and reading a fun poem, they dive into the activities! This guide includes an art project, a science experiment and a chance to grow your own clover! They even get to practice their baking skills by making clover cookies. Our worksheet in this guide allows them to reflect on reasons why they are lucky (or thankful) and the book and video resources at the end are a great way to dive further into the topic at hand.
